Who we are
AI Productivity is a sole trader business owned and operated by Brendan O'Hara, based in Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Ireland. We provide AI consultancy and implementation services to SME businesses in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website (aiproductivity.ie) and the client portal (portal.aiproductivity.ie).

Cookies
This website does not use cookies. We do not set any tracking, analytics, advertising, or session cookies when you visit aiproductivity.ie.
The client portal (portal.aiproductivity.ie) uses your browser's local storage — not cookies — to keep you signed in. This data stays on your own device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
What data this website collects
Website visits: Our hosting infrastructure (AWS CloudFront) logs standard server-access data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and infrastructure management. They are retained for 90 days and are not shared with third parties.
Contacting us by email: If you email us at hello@aiproductivity.ie, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this to respond to you. We retain email correspondence for the duration of the business relationship and up to 7 years for tax and legal record-keeping purposes.
Booking a call: The "Book a call" button links to Google Calendar. If you use it, you are taken to Google's scheduling service and your data is processed by Google under their own privacy policy. We receive your name and email address as part of the booking.
Fonts: This website serves fonts (Inter and JetBrains Mono) directly from our own server. No font data is sent to Google or any other third party.
What data the client portal collects
The portal is a private, invitation-only service. If you are a client, we process:
- Your email address (for authentication and communication)
- Your name and company details (provided by you in the portal profile)
- Project data: reports, next steps, and messages exchanged as part of our engagement
- Last login timestamp (to help us understand portal usage)
Legal basis: Contract — processing is necessary to provide the services you have engaged us to deliver (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention: We retain portal data for the duration of the engagement and up to 7 years thereafter for legal and tax purposes.
Sub-processors: The portal is hosted on Supabase (EU data region) and AWS (eu-west-1, Ireland). Files are stored in AWS S3 (eu-west-1). Transactional email is sent via Resend (EU).
Your rights under GDPR
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Restriction — ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances

Complaints
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission:

Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. We will notify active portal clients by message if changes affect how we process their data.
